OTRD is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at Sequoyah State Park Lodge in Hulbert, OK.
The hourly pay for this position is $12.
00Job DescriptionBasic PurposeUnder general direction, performs varied work involving the performance of assigned cleaning and upkeep tasks and other related work as required.
Typical Functions Sweeps, mops, dusts, polishes, waxes, and otherwise cleans specifically assigned rooms, corridors, stairs, and facades.
Keeps ice water coolers, sandboxes, spittoons, fish bowls, stoves, refrigerators, and similar furnishings in clean, usable condition.
Does occasional minor repair work on furnishings, such as tightening loose screws.
Assists in shifting about of furnishings.
Collects and disposes of waste and garbage.
Cares for equipment such as mops, brooms, and dust clothes.
Operates a vacuum cleaner or waxer at intervals.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and ExperienceThree (3) Months of experience in custodial work.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and CompetenciesAbility to work long hours while standing and the ability to follow simple oral instructions.
Special Requirements To operate state-owned vehicles in the performance of regularly assigned duties; a successful applicant must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license at the time of appointment.
